About Me

I am an educator and photographer as well as a parent and gandparent. I retiried in 2009 as an associate professor of art at Wellesley College after teaching for 23 years.

I am organizing and reviewing negatives and prints from the past. I continue to photograph mostly with digital cameras. I used Polaroid Type 55 (4×5 positive/negative instant film) from 1983 until it disappeared from the planet. I missed the instant feedback it provided. Digital cameras give it back. Color is good.

This blog was meant to keep track of some of the things I did and learned on my last sabbatical, in my 64th year and the year I retired… big changes in the lifestyle!

Here is a link to my webpage where you can view my work, cv and various projects. I have also started to use Viewbook for a portfolio.

Life is good!
