Fletcher Dole, the quintessential Yankee, the model for the milkman in Thornton Wilder’s play, “Our Town,” the man who sold us raw milk against the law.  I miss him. He told the best stories in the shortest time. His sweet corn fed the fellows at MacDowell Colony. It was the best.
